Tone2 Audiosoftware 에서 Rayblaster 2.0 라는 새로운 소프트신스를 공식 출시 하였습니다.
이 제품은 "Impulse Modelling Synthesis (IMS)" 라는 새로운 방식의 synthesis technique 을 기본으로 만들어졌습니다.
Waveform 이나 Loop 등의 사운드를 로딩해서 Impulse Modelling 을 실시해서 새로운 사운드를 만드는 방식입니다.
따라서 Waveform 이나 Loop 이 넘쳐나는 상황에서 거의 무한한 조합의 새로운 사운드를 만들 수 있다고 자랑합니다.
Waveform 에서 특정한 부분의 에너지만을 뽑아서 강조 할 수도 있고 실시간으로 음정, 음색, 시간 등은 물론이고 매우 복잡한 신디사이징을 줄 수 있습니다. 기본 factory impulse preset 들을 내장하고 있으며 따로 필터 기능이 필요없이 신디사이징과 일체가 되어 있는 샘플 사운드 자체를 분해 해서 재조합 하는 것으로 기본 시스템을 가지고 있어서 필터가 따로 존재할 필요가 없습니다
기존 500 개의 프리셋에 다시 500 개의 프리셋이 추가되어 총 1076 개의 프리셋이 탑재되어 잇습니다.
새로운 기능:

- 편리한 patch browser 가 새로 생겼습니다.

- Midi learn 지원 : 오른쪽 마우스 버튼으로 knob 에 미디 CC 설정 가능
- new synth engine 으로 bass sound 를 보강하고 더욱 더 realistic lowpass filter sweep 이 가능해졌습니다.
- 마우스로 파라메터 노브에 포인트가 가면 여러가지 인포메이션이 뜹니다.
- 39 DC waveform type 들이 추가 되었습니다,
- 마우스 오른쪽 클릭으로 메뉴를 열어서 모듈레이션 소스의 양을 어사인하고 조절 할 수 있습니다.
